Small-en Small-ja

This template is used to insert descriptions on template pages.

Syntax

Add <noinclude>{{documentation}}</noinclude> at the end of the template page for a standard documentation template. Do not use documentation for subtemplates that do not have any variables and that are only used in another template.

The template documentation of complex templates may be translated as well. If you want to add these languages, first put |footer=yes to enable the language footer, and then add your language: for instance, |de=yes. Currently supported languages are de, es and ja.

Example 1

This is the standard, English-only documentation:

Example 2

When a German and Japanese translation are available, write this:

Documentation page

On the /doc subpage, use the following format:

This template is used to do something. Describe this in the first paragraph.
