Could try pass by weekly? You're in roughly the same time zone as for instance User:Plover-Y, User:Induperator and User:Kittenu. The chat is getting more and more lively nowadays, but mostly at European time zones so far (:
Also it's been such a while since we've talked, I was hoping for a visit that was longer than 2 minutes! Let me know when you are likely to have free time to hop in.
Gee, it isn't in the dictionary. Miyan's "briged" refers to the entire brigade, the team, so that isn't so good. Truly the best translation would be "ahli briged" but if you're looking for two different texts, how 'bout "anggota" in place of "ahli"?
This confuses me a lot because "brigadier" already means someone higher than the colonel rank in English.
Whoo! Thanks for the notice (though I check it every 2 days, it's still a nice follow-up). The OCR missed out a few diacritics, but I guess it's the best we have at the moment. Anything you'd like done right now on the MS portal?
Hi, in the case you're making translations of those messages like "Last editor", you can find a list of those on MW messages and you can add them there. I check that page when someone edits it to see if I need to update or add any of the messages.
One question: See MW messages/ms? I added an appendage to the end, giving suggestions for who translators for MS can contact if they need anything. Thought this would make things simpler (since doing a Special:Listusers search is daunting...). Can it stay, or should it go?
One more: How should I set my account to use only Malay language? I want to try the Language Brigade as a Malay user to see for myself!
Instead of Special:ListUsers, you could from now on use Portal:Melayu/ahli. You can add yourself in there, or if you don't see how, I can do it for you too (with you permission). Differently than the userlist on Template:WLB, it will show the users who work on Malay stuff here, on WLB wiki.
Yeah, for subpages to work, they need to be added by an administrator. In this case that was MediaWiki:I18n-MW-messages/ms that needed to be created, but I did that by now, thanks for pointing out! This is also a way to avoid spam creation of pages to appear for our users, but the mediawiki software is also just set up that way.
